Thank you so much for your services at my Brother's surprise 40th party.  
First of all, let me share that one of the reasons why I selected you while acrss the US was becuse you were always so prompt with email and phone replies and were courteous and so willing to answer questions that I had, even if over  
and over again.  
I appreciated that you arrived early and set up quietly and efficiently. I thought the eveing went perfectly and despite all my fears about blending the Bhangra Dancers, your music and the Tarot card readers, I have to admit things went off without a hitch. A big thanks to Suzette- she had a great personality and her announcements helped to keep the whole evening flowing. I thought you two made a great pair, very professional but also personal and was just right for my party.  
Thanks also for accomodating the Bhangra dancers and their music- working with them and then working the crowds after the dancers left. I must admit I was glad when you guys shut down at 2:30 AM because people would have just kept dancing!  
Everyone has been telling us they loved the party and the music and please accept my heartfelt thanks. I have been giving out your name as a number of people asked about you.  
 
I am so glad I went with you- the extra dollars were well worth it.  
When I next host a party in SFO I know exactly whom I want to be DJ- it's you!

Sorry it has taken me a few days to get back to you about this- i have had a ton of homework this week.  
Thank you SOOOOOOOO much for everything on Friday! It was a GREAT party and EVERYONE had an awesome time. I got tons of people telling me afterward that it was definitely the best party of the year, and I will most definitely recommend you to people having parties in the future. You did a fabulous job.  
 
I thought the way you handled everything that night was great. I liked how at the beginning you just had the music low, for migling time, and then turned it uo when it was time to dance. As far as getting people to dance, it really wasn't much of an issue. You called people over at certain points when the dancefloor was looking a little bare which I thought was fine, and effective. At most times, there were lots of people out there and having tons of fun. In terms of using the mic, I think it was good- you weren't on there too much so it didn't seem like you were always you know talking and interupting. I think it was just enough- announcing the one slow song and every now and then pumping people up to get dancing- ooh and I thought it was cool how at 10:31 you made the shout out- that was fun :)  
I thought the lights you brought were awesome, just enough. They were cool and flashy, and gave the party a nice club ish sort of feel. I think everybody liked that. Especially once we killed all the other lights in the room, it looked great with yours flashing. in terms of music, I thnk everything was good. You played the kind of music all my friends like to dance too and everything was great. I dont remember the dancefloor having less than like 50 people on it at anytime. My friends all had a blast!! 
 
Overall things went perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better party! Thanks so much for everything you did to make it my best birthday ever!

I hired DJ Aaron for my daughter's 15th birthday party with approx. 100 kids attending.  It was fantastic!  Aaron had the kids dancing from the moment he started playing until the moment parents lined up to pick up at the end of the evening.  There were so many kids dancing, that the dance floor was not big enough for everyone.  The music was exactly what my daughter wanted.  I was at first a little skeptical that he would not know what music to play for this age group (as he has done parties for older kids and adults) - Aaron assured me he know exactly what would work - he was 110% right.
Aaron's music selection was absolutely perfect. He really knew what would get them up out of the chairs and onto the floor. He used the microphone to draw the crowd, being the Perfect MC. 
They danced until the last song was finished and had a fantastic time.Aaron was very professional. He arrived one hour early to set up and review the evening's plan with both myself and my daughter.  His equipment was state of the art and even amazed my husband who is a very knowledgeable about sound systems.  Aaron even had a back up system ready to immediately put into play if there were any problems.  He never took a break that I could see and the music was non-stop. He was perfectly dressed and had checked with me earlier as to what the attire should be.  At the end of the evening, as parents arrived to collect their children - the dance lights that Aaron provided beckoned parents out of their cars to check things out - they commented on how many were dancing and how great the lights and music were. The following day, my daughter received many e-mails and IM's telling her the DJ was amazing and that they had the best time.  The party was a total success.

Hi Aaron-   
I would recommend Aaron Bartell with California Disc Jockey for every type  
of event! We hired Aaron for my sorority's 100th Anniversary Celebration,  
and needed someone that would be able to entertain a group that ranged from  
college students to older alumnae. I was very concerned about finding a DJ  
that would be able to accommodate my event's unique needs, but Aaron asked  
all of the right questions, played all of the songs on our playlist, and was  
a pleasure to work with.  
 
In the weeks leading up to the event, Aaron was very easy to get a hold of.  
We had some last-minute requests that he kindly accommodated. Every  
component of our program was taken care of. Aaron executed our slideshow  
beautifully, and provided the projector and all equipment needed so we  
wouldn't have to worry about it. All of his equipment was excellent, and  
worked much better than the venue's sound system. The lights that Aaron  
brought for the dancing part of the evening were perfect. He was prompt and  
by far the most professional DJ that my sorority has ever worked with.
